Do you worry about your child's anxiety? Do they seem low in confidence, self-belief and courage?Â
We believe every child deserves to feel happy and confident.
That's why, we developed a 6-week course for children age 8-12 that will help them feel awesome and thrive, no matter the circumstances.
Register Your ChildIn Club Awesome this is the very first thing we teach and the message we want all children to know.
Â
Having worked with children over the last 18 years (12 as a music therapist), I know all too well that this message gets very lost and buried, sometimes completely destroyed.
Self esteem and body issues, confidence issues, increased anxiety, stress, illness and mental health issuesâŚthese things are commonplace amongst our youth and it makes me so sad and frustrated because it does not have to be this way.
By making personal development work (the tools, skills and techniques) normal and accessible to children, this gives them the chance to realise and acknowledge what may be going on for them before any negative effects have a chance to take hold.Â
It gives them the knowledge and power to be who they want to be, confidently and resiliently showing up in the world with high self esteem and self worth.
This would be the dream right?
Of course we all know that personal growth and development is a lifelong commitment. A habit that needs to be nurtured.
So why not embed the skills of personal growth in your little one just as we do the need to brush our teeth or wear a seatbelt in the car?
Implementing something small now will have a huge positive impact later on and I believe this 100 million percent.
Club Awesome was created to help all children feel happy and confident, and most importantly like the awesome little humans they already are.
JOIN THE CLUBThis course is for your child if they are presenting any of the followingâŚ
Â
đ They often worry or become anxious about things easily, maybe schoolwork pressures or being apart from you
đ They struggle with social/peer/family relationships
đ They struggle with confidence and low self esteem but you canât figure out why
đ They show signs of body image issues and they donât talk nicely about themselves
đ They arenât coping after the effects of a trauma such as grief, covid or parental separation
đ They seem withdrawn and sad, preventing them from doing things you know they enjoy
Â
Writing this list brings back a lot of memories from my own childhood and I can remember so well how horrible it felt not to have the confidence just to be me.
Â
But there is so much we can do to help ourselves AND our children.
Â
Personal Development can help at any age.
Â
If 4+ above statements describe your little one, then Club Awesome is for them!

"The sessions were really fun and I really really really loved working with Jo. She made me feel comfortable talking about stuff and made me feel happier when I was having a bad day"
- Increasing your child's confidence so they are more willing to try new things, put themselves out there to learn and experience things that will lead to growth and positive development.
Â
- Developing a more secure sense of self so they know their likes and dislikes, and a strong sense of whatâs right and wrong for them
Â
- Dealing with negative self talk and creating a positive relationship with themselves so your growing child has higher self esteem. They will learn that the feeling of being liked and accepted first and foremost comes from within. They will develop a sense of pride about who they are and what they can do
Â
- Developing a Growth Mindset which will help your little one stay strong in difficult situations, to never give up, and to know they are good enough even though they may get things wrong or find things challenging from time to time. Instead of negatively comparing themselves to others, they will learn how to find inspiration and drive from their peer's success. They will become more open to opportunities that will help them to grow and be the best they can be without the pressure of 'being perfect'
Â
-
Building Resilience through activities that will help your child develop a positive mindset leading to better mental health. They will learn various coping skills and strategies to overcome a multitude of lifeâs difficulties including loss, changing personal circumstances, making mistakes and getting things wrong (sense of failure), navigating puberty and difficult peer relationships
 -
Reducing stress and anxiety which will help your child to have more space to think clearly and become less reactionary. We all know that feeling of pressure and overwhelm that is associated with stress and feeling anxious. Now imagine how children feel when they experience the same things but without the understanding of how to figure them out and communicate effectively what theyâre going through⌠by learning the skills of emotional understanding and effective communication, children become better equipped to deal with stress and anxiety.
 AND SO MUCH MORE...

Meet the founder of Club Awesome...
Â
My name is Jo and I am an experienced therapist and qualified transformational coach. I have nearly 20 years experience working in schools; 12 years psychotherapy experience as a music therapist and more recently as a mental health and personal development coach.Â
Â
My passion is to encourage all young people to feel the confidence and happiness they deserve and to build the resilience and inner strength needed to cope with unfamiliar and sometimes scary situations.Â
Â
Over the years I have been saddened by the lack of support available for those who donât meet the criteria for support or who arenât placed in the âin desperate needâ box. Any child suffering with anxiety, overwhelm, low self worth or confidence, peer relationship strugglesâŚif your child is struggling in ANY way, they are 100% worthy of my support and Iâm here ready to give it in abundance!
Iâve got the skills and experience to help your little ones begin their own personal journey to become happier and more confident and I'm so excited to meet them and get started!
